Clinical Supervision

Grow Into the Therapist that You Want to Be

Whether you’re a new graduate finding your footing or a seasoned therapist working deeply with trauma, I offer clinical supervision designed to help MSWs, RP(Q)s and RPs feel more confident, grounded, and supported in their clinical work.

This is a space to slow down, think deeply, and develop your voice as a therapist—while building the skills needed to work safely and effectively with complex clinical material.

A Supportive Space to Learn, Reflect, and Grow

Early in your career—or when working with trauma—it’s common to feel:

  • Unsure of your clinical decisions

  • Overwhelmed by the complexity of client experiences

  • Affected by the emotional weight of the work

In our supervision, you’ll have a non-judgmental space to:

  • Speak openly about challenges and uncertainties

  • Explore your instincts and clinical reasoning

  • Reflect honestly on both your clients and yourself

We’ll work collaboratively so you can build confidence without losing curiosity or care.

Trauma-Informed and Developmentally Attuned

My approach is both trauma-informed and developmentally attuned, meaning I meet you where you are—while helping you grow.

Together, we’ll focus on:

  • Strengthening your use of self as a therapist

  • Understanding and working with trauma presentations

  • Navigating transference and countertransference, especially in trauma work

  • Building skills for regulation, pacing, and safety in sessions

  • Developing clear, thoughtful case formulations

For new therapists, this also means building strong clinical foundations.

For trauma therapists, it means deepening your capacity to stay present without becoming overwhelmed.

Working Across Difference with Care

I support therapists in navigating ethnocultural differences between themselves and their clients, with a focus on:

  • Cultural humility

  • Self-awareness

  • Responsiveness in the therapeutic relationship

Sustainable Practice Matters

Trauma work—especially early in your career—can be deeply meaningful, but also demanding.

Supervision is a place to care for the therapist behind the work.

We will attend to:

  • Burnout and vicarious trauma

  • Emotional boundaries and capacity

  • Building a sustainable and fulfilling work life

So you can continue to show up with presence, clarity, and resilience.

  • Develop a grounded, intentional use of self in your work

  • Deepen your understanding of trauma, including transference and countertransference

  • Build a more sustainable practice while navigating complexity, difference, and burnout

Supervision Services

One-on-one supervision offers a consistent, supportive space to explore your clinical work in depth. This is especially valuable for new graduates and trauma therapists who want individualized guidance and ongoing support.

Individual Supervision

Group supervision provides the opportunity to learn alongside other therapists, offering diverse perspectives and shared learning. It can be a powerful complement to individual supervision.
